Introduction
Learning about breast cancer and early detection is our best weapon against the disease and the Komen for the Cure strives to provide the most current educational resources in its mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease.

Many of the most powerful resources we have are initiatives of the Komen for the Cure itself, including 1-800-I'M Aware, a national toll-free breast care helpline answered by trained, caring volunteers who can provide answers, local resources and moral support. The Komen for the Cure also created www.komen.org, a site that has everything from the ABCs of Breast Cancer to a NetQuiz that tests your knowledge of the disease.
